Governors Harbour
The only movie theater on Eleuthera is located on the south side of Governors Harbour just as you enter town on the Caribbean side of the hwy.
They have a food concession and a balcony if you like sitting up high. It's definitely a fun place to go and we've noticed that movies seem to run in
Eleuthera even before they come out in America.

Gladstone & Paul Petty
Paul & Gladstone Petty are located in Governors Harbour .
They specialize in both reef and bone fishing and unless you are already an
expert you will learn a lot about fishing from either the father or the son.
Gladstone is the father and has been taking guests on fishing charters longer
than anyone on the island.

The best time to catch either Paul or Gladstone is between
6:30-7:00 am eastern and after 9-9:30 pm eastern.

Valentines Dive center is located on Harbour Island although it's mainly a dive center

Ocean Fox
Ocean fox is located on Harbour Island. Although Ocean Fox is mainly a diving
center, however they also have deep sea fishing charters.

Ocean Fox accommodates seasoned divers or if your a beginner you can start in the
morning and do your first dive in the afternoon.

Valentine's Dive Center
Valentines Dive Center is located on Harbour Island.
Valentines is a large dive operator with a bigger boat. It's a full service dive operation
supplying all equipment and training when necessary.

Clear Water Dive Shop
The Clear Water Dive Shop is located in Governors Harbour in the main shopping plaza.
Clear Water Dive Shop is basically a place to rent or buy snorkeling equipment masks, flippers,
suites, etc.. You can also rent tanks and get tanks filled. You must however bring your own bc's,

Golf
Cotton Bay Club
The Cotton Bay Club is about a one hour drive south of Sunrise Villa past Rock Sound.
Many decades ago the Cotton Bay Club was the most exclusive resort in the Bahamas.
It was patronized by royalty and the rich & famous in America. It also has a
Robert Trent Jones golf course and when it was new was one of the nicest anywhere.
The Cotton Bay Club has been closed for many decades. However the Robert Trent Jones
golf course is still open to this day. Maintenance on the course
leaves something to be desired buts it's still quite functional.
